University Affiliations
Universal Institute has been affiliated with Seton Hall
University since 1999. We have fostered a caring professional
partnership to enhance the future of our clients through
experience, advocacy, and interdiciplinary teams. We have had
many different departments communicate and therefore have had
many successful clinical experiences through this partnership.

Physical Therapy

Occupational Therapy
Universal Institute for Rehabilitation has collaborated with
Seton Hall University's Occupational Therapy Program since 1999
in providing fieldwork education. Student's have the opportunity
to provide hands on intervention for individual's recovering
from brain injury, stroke, and spinal cord injury, under the
close supervision of Universal's outstanding clinicians. The
occupational therapy fieldwork educators at Universal guide the
student in providing client centered care using innovative
treatment including natural environments and rehabilitation
technology. On completing a 12 week affiliation at Universal, a
recent student wrote "What could I say? This experience was
fulfilling, enriching and positive. I have grown and I feel
ready to begin my life as an Occupational Therapist!"
